Chris Parfitt will be giving a presentation on "Lien Laws and Understanding of Construction Bonds in the State of Michigan" during a conference put on by the Burglar and Fire Alarm Association of Michigan. The conference will be held on October 4, 2007 at the Troy Marriott Hotel.

On September 20, 2007, Ron Deneweth and Tim Dugan will be the featured speakers for a one-day seminar on Construction Bond and Lien Law in Michigan. The seminar will be held at the Somerset Inn, 2601 West Big Beaver Road, Troy, MI 48084.

Matthew C. Herstein was invited to speak at the 3^rd Annual Michigan Green Industry Association Snow Management Conference Expo. The Snow Management Conference will be held at the Rock Financial Showplace on September 6, 2007, and Mr. Herstein will discuss the potential liability of snow removal contractors working in Michigan.

Congratulations to Ron Deneweth and Tim Dugan for being named as two of Michigan's "Super Lawyers." The 2007 issue of Michigan Super Lawyers listed many of the best and most highly respected lawyers in Michigan and both Mr. Deneweth and Mr. Dugan were listed as top lawyers in the practice of construction and surety law. Mr. Herstein graduated with honors from the University of Michigan before earning his J.D. with honors from the University of Nebraska.
